Just like your opinions matter, your child’s independent thoughts, desires, and opinions matter to us as well. Through play and laughter, we see your child excited to gain knowledge, through knowledge we see empowerment, esteem, and self-confidence. In addition to teaching your child about safety, hygiene, and manners, our curriculum will prepare your child for higher education. Our school is unique because we encourage our children to be more than a workforce! We are growing Entrepreneurs, Engineers, Law Makers, CEO’s! We provide child care for the most discerning parents. We prepare your child to shape the World in which we live.
Our Philosophy is simple if you just like children. When you like children, you want to come to work every day and you never mind being called in on a day off or being asked to stay late on occasion. When you like children, you play with them and talk to them respectfully and with full attention. When you like children you want to nourish their bodies and their minds and you delight when they imitate you. When you like children, you aren’t bothered when one of them spills a pitcher of water on the floor. Instead, you use it as an opportunity to teach them how to clean up after themselves. When you like children, patting and rocking a child to sleep is a precious gift. When you like children, you feel bad when they act up because you realize you haven’t done your job to redirect them as they grew bored. When you like children, you engage them in deep conversations like “why is the sky blue? Why don’t fish blink?” When you like children, you look forward to sending them home happy every day and seeing them wave good bye to mom without a tear every morning. When you like children, they learn please and thank you without being reminded because they live what they learn from you. When you like children, you find yourself spinning in circles and giggling on your back as the world still spins above. When you like children, you find perfection in the rough edges of a cut-out picture. When you like children, you are on time because you don’t want them to worry about you. When you like children, you take boo boos seriously even especially if it is on a doll or an imaginary friend. When you like children, you see Van Gogh in their art and Frank Lloyd Wright in their block buildings. When you like children, you encourage them to use play-dough a medium for a mud pit that tinker toys and hot wheels get stuck in. When you like children, singing songs is essential, even off key. When you like children, you understand that many food products substitute for hair gel when playing beauty shop. When you like children, you love honesty because children love to tell you what they really think about that blouse. When you like children, you believe that dirt and paint smudged clothing is a sign of a great day. When you like children, you change their diapers and help them roll up their sleeves because you know how icky wet cold clothes feel. When you like children, awards are given for good deeds and any accomplishment can turn into a hand clapping, whoo whooing celebration. When you like children, stickers and bubbles are more valuable than the books and furniture on which they land. When you like children, you understand that a marshmallow or an m & m can dry many tears.
